What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Computer Technician (AZ Based) position at BWI Best Western International, Inc.?
Job Purpose: Provide technical support for desktop computer software programs, trouble shoot computer issues and deploy new computers to end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer technical support and daily guidance to our end users
- Resolve technical problems for internal and external customers.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems with vendors and systems.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Experience/Education/Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of related experience.
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications such as A , Net , MCP, or CCNA preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows 11.
- Technical skills desired: Microsoft AutoPilot, Microsoft Intune, Powershell, Dell Hardware Support, Bomgar, PatchMyPC, BeyondTrust.
- Experience with ticketing systems and asset management.
- Strong customer service skills.

- Work under general supervision with some independent judgment.

- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Other Requirements:
- This is an in-person role and will require onsite attendance, Monday through Friday, at either of our offices, depending on the need. - May be assigned to the Desktop OnCall schedule.
- May be assigned to any shift based on business needs.
