Overview: This position is responsible for machining wooden doors. The ideal candidate will be experienced and qualified to perform a variety of duties related to the production of commercial doors.
Pay: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $18.11-$21.28 benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm with Overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of machines in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all production schedules and quality standards
- Perform a daily pre-operation inspection check of the machines to ensure they are ready for use
- Prepare and setup machines for production to ensure all materials and equipment are ready for operation
- Conduct quality inspections of produced items to ensure that they meet company standards and customer specifications
- Work closely with the commercial production team and supervisor to meet production targets and resolve any operational challenges
- Suggest process improvements and machine adjustments to optimize workflow and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 year experience operating machines
- Machine maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to understand/read English required
- Ability to pass a preemployment drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, excellent dexterity, must work at a fast pace and handle multiple parts, fast pace is physically demanding

- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
