Hard Truth Distilling Co. is the largest destination craft distillery in Indiana, set on a 325-acre, wooded campus featuring the Hard Truth distillery and rackhouse, a large restaurant, a tours and tastings center, and an expansive terraced outdoor recreational area with a stage, yard games, and more. Throughout the year, guests can enjoy walking and ATV tours, leisurely strolls around the pond, hearty meals, fantastic craft beer and spirits, live music, special events, and festivals.

The Hard Truth Tours & Tastings Center offers distillery and ATV tours, mixology classes, single barrel selection experiences, and guided tastings of Hard Truth spirits.

This 21 years-and-older space also features a full bar that offers cocktails and tasting flights, Hard Truth merchandise, and a bottle shop featuring a full selection of Hard Truth spirits for carryout, as well as sister-brand Quaff ON! beer for package and growler carryout.

Hard Truth Tours & Tastings Center is looking to hire Part Time and Full Time bartenders!

Responsibilities : Mixology Expertise :

Prepare a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beers, and specialty drinks, with precision and consistency.

Customer Service :

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing an exceptional first impression.

Engage with patrons to understand their preferences and make personalized drink recommendations.

Ensure timely and attentive service, addressing customer needs and inquiries professionally.

Menu Knowledge :

Possess a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant's beverage menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and pairings.

Effectively communicate menu options and provide explanations to customers.

Order Management :

Take accurate drink orders from customers, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Beverage Preparation :

Follow standardized recipes and techniques to prepare drinks, maintaining the highest quality standards.

Garnish and present beverages with attention to detail, enhancing their visual appeal.

Cleanliness and Maintenance :

Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all utensils, glassware, and equipment are properly sanitized and stored.

Regularly clean and restock the bar, ensuring a seamless flow of service.

Compliance :

Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to alcohol service, including age verification and responsible serving practices.

Collaboration :

Work closely with other team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Collaborate with the kitchen to coordinate food and drink orders for optimal pairing and timing.

Upselling and Sales :

Skillfully recommend premium or specialty beverages to customers, increasing sales and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Qualifications :

Must be 21 years of age.

Must have or have the ability to obtain an Alcohol Serving permit through the State of Indiana.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong customer service orientation with a positive and approachable demeanor.

Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and relevant legal regulations.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
