Job Description
As a Process Engineer, you will serve as the technical leader on projects, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including process, automation, mechanical design, and electrical engineers. You will play a crucial role in taking designs from inception through fabrication, testing, and implementation. This position is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about process engineering and eager to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment while driving technical excellence in clean utility systems.
Job Functions:
- Provide technical support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and specify detailed engineering bills of materials (BOMs).
- Create and review drawings, mark-ups, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ASME BPE, GAMP, cGMP, and ISPE guidelines.
- Control and manage project engineering scope, ensuring it aligns with client specifications and industry regulations.
- Work in accordance with BWT's established quality management system to ensure the highest standards.
- Develop, review, and maintain related documentation, files, procedures, and databases as part of product development and project execution.
- Coordinate and execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of equipment at the BWT workshop prior to delivery to ensure all systems meet performance and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering and project management within clean utilities or related industries.
- Electro-mechanical mindset with a strong passion for engineering.
- Experience with pharmaceutical validation and familiarity with GAMP standards is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and reviewing technical drawings.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with clean utilities systems design and implementation.
- Familiarity with process engineering for water treatment, pharmaceutical, or biotech applications.
- Knowledge of ASME BPE, cGMP, ISPE, and other industry-specific standards.
