Assist with Engineering and Operations activities for assets within the Boston Region portfolio.

Essential Functions:
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Assist in collecting and analyzing building performance data (energy consumption, HVAC performance, water usage, etc.).
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate reports and visualizations to communicate data insights to engineering and management teams.
- Assist in benchmarking building performance against industry standards and best practices.
- Analyze data related to preventative maintenance schedules.
- Assist in the management of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) data.
- Support the processing and tracking of work orders, ensuring timely completion.
- Assist in the integration of CMMS with building automation systems (BAS).
- Help to analyze work order data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the auditing of work orders, to ensure proper completion, and data entry.
- Assist in the development and tracking of KPIs related to building operations and maintenance.
- Monitor building systems performance and identify potential issues.
- Support the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of KPI dashboards.
- Assist in the inspection and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Support the implementation of building automation system (BAS) improvements.
- Assist in conducting site inspections and documenting building conditions.
- Assist in the review of construction drawings and specifications.
- Assist engineering teams with capital improvement projects.
- Support the coordination of vendor activities.
- Assist in the documentation of project progress.
- Assist in the gathering of information for project budgeting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program required.
- Completion of college education through junior year preferred.
- One year of prior summer work experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft office preferred.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to confidently interact with co-workers, contractors, clients, or vendors in an articulate, courteous, and business-like manner at all times.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

- Involves work of a general office nature usually performed sitting such as operation of a computer.

- Internal contact with all departments in Boston Regional Office, property management staff in other regional offices, and various departments in the Corporate office.
- External contact with property management professionals and clients.
- This position reports to the Vice President, Engineering, who provides supervision and guidance, and evaluates performance on a periodic basis.
