Supervisor (Supervisor I)

As a Supervisor, you will be key in supporting daily operations and ensuring the team provides exceptional service. You will assist the management team with staff oversight, product knowledge training, and maintaining operational standards. As part of the leadership team, you will take on leadership responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and compliance with store policies.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management team in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Act as a team lead, providing guidance and assistance to staff during shifts.
• Assist with staff scheduling, task delegation, and shift coverage as needed.
• Monitor and uphold customer service standards, addressing minor escalations when necessary.
• Help train staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
• Support inventory operations, including receiving shipments, organizing products, and ensuring accurate labeling.
• Ensure store policies and procedures are followed, including safety and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on store operations and staff performance.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and store setup.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by encouraging teamwork and motivation.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or a dispensary setting, with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support staff and provide excellent customer service.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management, sales strategies, and retail operations.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in cannabis products and compliance regulations.
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.
• A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to leadership.
