By Light Professional IT Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) and other DoD agencies.
Job Summary
This role involves providing site management, infrastructure operation and maintenance, unified communications, customer service, and cybersecurity support. The successful candidate will analyze technical problems, provide resolutions, and ensure that information systems are configured according to DISA security guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting DoD cybersecurity policy requirements, RMF activities, and security hardening, collection, and assessment tools. A Secret security clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze technical problems and provide resolutions in solving these issues.
- Support the government in ensuring that information systems are configured IAW DISA security technical implementation guides (STIGs), applicable patches, and other cybersecurity requirements.
- Provide input on Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assess Only submissions and record RMF activities in eMASS.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Associate degree or higher.
- Foundational Personnel Certification: CompTIA Security , Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CyberSec First Responder (CFR).
- Microsoft Security Engineer Associate certification.
- On-the-job training in RMF, EMASS, and ACAS.
- Minimum three years' experience supporting DoD cybersecurity policy requirements and RMF activities.
- Extensive experience with DoD security hardening, collection, and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS, SCAP, Nessus, etc.).
- Experience with security architectures, firewalls, and network access.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supported the U.S. Army or other DoD Agency.
- Fluent spoken and written English language, to include usage of technical terms commonly used in information technology (IT), network routing and switching, telecommunications, IT maintenance, and technical control facilities.
