Job Description
Overview: By Light Professional IT Services LLC is a joint venture between American Communication Solutions LLC and By Light Professional IT Services LLC. We are seeking personnel to support the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia, Local Network Enterprise Center (LNEC) Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story (JEBLCFS), Virginia, with classified and unclassified communication systems support.
Responsibilities:
- Operations and Planning Support: Performs operations and planning support to include tracking progress on projects and daily tasks.
- Technical Briefings: Prepares and conducts briefings to leadership on the current status and future requirements.
- Engineering Support: Performs engineering support to include the development of technical documentation such as engineering reports, diagrams procedures and/or drawings.
- Tier II Customer Support: Manage and track Tier II customer support, for installation IT equipment, SW, systems, interfaces, and networks to ensure all tickets assigned by the Army Enterprise Service Desk (AESD) are received and responded to within times prescribed in the AITP Services List.
- Metric Analysis: Maintain site specific metrics and provide trend analysis.
- Reporting: Provide the Government with a monthly report detailing Workload Analysis Report & IT Metrics.
- Quality Control: Performs quality control checks to ensure delivery of quality services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Possess an associates degree or higher.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security , Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CyberSec First Responder (CFR), CompTIA Cloud , Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).
- Experience: Minimum of three years experience supporting IT systems and/or infrastructure operations and planning support to the DoD.
- Language Skills: Fluent in the spoken and written English language, to include the usage of technical terms commonly used in information technology (IT), network routing and switching, telecommunications, IT maintenance, and technical control facilities.
