**Job Summary**
By Light Professional IT Services LLC is seeking personnel to support the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia, Local Network Enterprise Center (LNEC) Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story (JEBLCFS), Virginia, with classified and unclassified communication systems support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies required for technical operations, including jacks, telephones, jumper wire, and other items.
- Determine source of supply through quotes or bids from multiple vendors to obtain best price and quickest availability.
- Obtain purchase approval in advance using a list with item name, quantity, source, unit price, and total price.
- Ensure adequate materials are available to support day-to-day workload.
- Manage Government cable yard to store spare copper cable and fiber cable for daily and emergency use.
- Establish audit trail accounting for usage of parts.
- Provide monthly Parts Usage Report.
- Turn in broken or obsolete parts on a quarterly basis to DLA Disposition Services.
Required Experience:
- Possess associate's degree or have minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience supporting supply/warehouse operations.
- Residential Qualification (On-the-Job) Global Combat Support System Army (GCSSA).
Preferred Experience:
- Supported U.S. Army or other DoD Agency.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
