At By Light Professional IT Services LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Telephone Switch/ISP Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting telephone switch infrastructure and be qualified to support ISP requirements.
As a key member of our team, you will perform administrative and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) functions for the switching equipment, including Local Session controller, Voicemail, Telephone Management System (TMS), Crash conferencing, and ancillary equipment.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining maintenance logs, monitoring local session controller and supporting systems alarms, and coordinating with Original Equipment Manufacturers to support switching equipment.
In addition, you will provide reports of all minor and major alarms that occurred on a monthly basis and the action taken to resolve the alarms, report outages in accordance with local and higher headers processes and procedures, and support customer telephone requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications, network routing and switching, IT maintenance, and technical control facilities. They will also possess excellent communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
