Job Overview
We are now hiring caring and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care in our Douglas County area.

We want to ensure clients' their comfort, safety, and dignity.

Caregivers will work closely with clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by assisting with daily living activities such:
• bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to office staff and RNs we have.
• Support individuals with disabilities by offering personal specific needs.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Uphold resident rights by treating all clients with respect and dignity while promoting independence.
• Engage with clients and their emotional well-being and social interaction.
• Document care provided and any observations regarding the client's condition or behavior in data program software.

Requirements

• Previous experience in patient care or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of senior care practices, including assisted living protocols and resident rights.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding. Work with hands on training here with staff to provide higher safety standards in the field.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Must be physically capable of performing caregiving duties which may include assisting or rolling clients safely or stand by assist with transfers.
• A caring demeanor with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
