As a Heavy Equipment Operator with Byard Construction LLC, you will operate a variety of the latest heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our mass excavation, utility, and paving projects.

What You'll Do
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will:
- Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, wheel loaders, haulers, skid-steers, sweepers, trenchers, and curb/asphalt-related equipment.
- Understand and interpret grades, elevations, sketches, and construction plans.
- Follow safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success.
- Work in various weather conditions and handle physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling over 50 lbs.
