Position: Rental Customer Advisor
Location: Byerly RV – St. Louis, MO
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
The Rental Customer Advisor plays a key role in ensuring a seamless rental experience for customers while maximizing sales opportunities. This position involves managing rental reservations, assisting customers with their rental needs, and promoting additional products and services to enhance their experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist customers with RV rental reservations, ensuring accurate booking details and providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct check-in and check-out procedures, including vehicle inspections and rental agreements.
- Follow up with rental customers before and after their trips to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Promote and sell add-ons such as collision damage waivers, mileage packages, generator usage packages, cancellation protection plans, windshield protection plans, etc.
- Educate customers on proper RV usage, safety protocols, and maintenance requirements.
- Process rental payments and ensure accurate documentation of rental transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of rental units, coordinating with service and detailing teams as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media engagement and promotional events.
- Collaborate with the sales and service teams to provide an integrated customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or the RV industry preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to upsell and recommend additional products to customers.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computers and rental management software (training provided).
- Must be able to work Saturdays and 2 Sundays a Year
- Must be able to work some overtime during peak rental seasons.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Compensation:
- Base salary of $20/hour plus commissions based on rental bookings and sales.
