Job Overview
This position provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth. You’ll begin in Inside Sales, where you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of the role and industry. After gaining experience, you’ll have the potential to transition into an Outside Sales position in your second year.
Key Responsibilities
· Services existing accounts
· Establishes new accounts from referrals and incoming calls
· Builds & maintains customer relationships
· Resolves customer complaints and keeps management informed
· Data entry into orders system Sage 100 including quotes, orders, purchase orders, RMA’S
· Research equipment/ parts required by the customer
· Obtain quotes from vendors
· Communicates with company’s outside sales rep
· Updates CRM with communications and follow – ups / task concerning quote/order
· Run reports for open orders and ensure orders close
· Ensures that documents are in paperless system against the order: customer request, customer purchase orders, vendor acknowledgements, drawings, etc.
Qualifications
Required
· Sanitary or Industrial liquid processing equipment knowledge (valves, pumps, instrumentation, homogenizers, and fittings)
· Knowledge of computers, ERP Systems (Sage knowledge a plus), CRM, Paperless systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
· Proficient in Excel
· Type 40 WPM
· Must be a problem solver
· Must be detail-oriented
· Must be personable
· Must be able to multi-task
· Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships
· Successfully manages customer expectations
· Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and all levels of management
· Presents information effectively and persuasively across communication settings
· Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer toward commitment
· Work well in teams as well an be able to work alone
· Is self-assured, confident in a variety of settings, and has a strong belief in own capabilities
