What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly/Gun Smith Apprentice position at Bynuna?
In the Assembly and Gunsmith Apprentice positions, we are looking for candidates with strong knowledge of firearms, experience as a Gunsmith Assistant, and/or completion of an accredited Gunsmith Certification. You will be responsible for installing parts, such as metallic or optical sights, pistol grips, recoil pads, and decorative pieces of firearms, using screws and hand tools. You will also have prior experience in Cerakote Coating to perform daily activities associated with the manufacture of coated goods using automated and manual equipment and processes.
Responsibilities:
-Perform gunsmithing tasks such as repairing, modifying, and customizing firearms
- Sandblasting/Cerakote painting. Disassemble and reassemble firearms for cleaning, maintenance, or repair purposes
- Inspect firearms to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate or modify firearm parts
- Have reliable and consistent work ethic
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of firearms
- Ability to assemble and disassemble various types of firearms
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for gunsmithing tasks
- Experience in fabricating or modifying firearm parts is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols
