We are seeking a dedicated and organized Non-Emergency Medical Transporation Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our NEMT office. Responsibilities
- Assist the Agency Director and Registered Nurse with hiring qualified staff for all areas of the agency
- Reports directly to the Administrator and Agency Director
- Ensures personnel records are reviewed and completed per agency policy
- Assures that compliance and policies and procedures are followed
- Assures that infection control compliance is followed by agency staff
- Adheres to agency policy and procedures
- Abides by federal, state, and local laws
- Ensures the accuracy of public information, materials, and activities
- Recommends and participates in the formulation of the organization's goals, objectives, and related policies
- Assist the Administrator to evaluate human resource programs related to identifying agency needs consistent with the purposes and resources of the organization
- Helps the RN Staff to ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Enforces company policies and procedures
- Complies with local, state, and federal standards, laws, and regulations to maintain office's licenses and certifications
- Assist the RN Staff with office quality improvement activities
- Keep current on local issues and trends by participating in local, state, and national organizations and workshops related to healthcare
- Assist the Agency Administrator and Agency Director to ensure that standards of ethical business and clinical practice are maintained
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office management role or similar position within a healthcare and NEMT setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed records accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with Paratransit services or bus driving is a plus for coordinating patient transportation needs.
- Experience in shuttle driving or as a delivery driver may be beneficial for logistical coordination.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
