The Certified Pharmacy Tech is responsible for assisting in performing the routine duties in the hospital pharmacy. The Certified Pharmacy Technician will work under the direct supervision of a Louisiana Licensed Pharmacist and may not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a Louisiana Licensed Pharmacist. They assist in providing pharmaceutical services that meets the needs of the patient.


Position Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Graduate, GED, or Transcript preferred


    • Experience:

  • Two years of health system pharmacy experience


    • Licenses/Certificates:

  • Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license verified thru Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
