What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Tech position at Byrd Regional Hospital?
The Dietetic Tech assists the Registered Dietitian in the daily operation of the Food and Nutrition Services Department. Conducts nutrition screening assessments through direct patient interaction and reports to Registered Dietitian(s). Assists food service staff in all areas to ensure nutrition guidelines are met, patient menus are consistent with diet orders and monitors quality and accuracy of food served. Works under the direction of a Registered Dietitian.
