Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping practices.
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and company records.
- Utilize financial software to record transactions and generate reports as needed.
- Support corporate accounting functions by assisting with month-end close processes.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and assist in preparing necessary documentation for compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Processing payroll for multiple clients using Quickbooks
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting principles, particularly double entry bookkeeping.
- Experience with corporate accounting practices is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and budgeting techniques.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures and financial software applications.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and financial concepts is a plus.
