What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Byrider?
SUMMARY
Responsible for greeting the customer, accepting loan payments, and accurately maintaining and updating customer account information. Works with service department processes. Also responsible for data entry functions and vehicle title information while correctly executing all office procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES in three key areas include: Customer Service, Administration, Operations. Other duties as assigned.
Customer Service
- Make all customers feel welcome in person and on the phone.
- Convey to customers that CNAC appreciates their business.
Administration
- Maintains vehicle records, including automotive titles as controlled by the Office Manager. Maintains and validates proof of insurance on each account on an ongoing basis. Helps control office expenses.
Operations
- Accepts and post payments (mail and counter).
- Refers all payment disputes to the Finance Manager or Collector.
- Directs cash control procedures (deposits, cash drawer).
- Answers telephone and refers account inquires to appropriate parties.
- Assists in verification of applications as requested by the Branch Finance Manager.
Updates and maintains customer current information (address, phone number, insurance, status in computer records).
- Phone, filing, mail, data entry.

Education and/or Experience
Previous bookkeeping experience helpful, excellent organizational skills, clear written and oral communication skills, good ability to interact with all levels of management, computer literate, must be bondable.
