General Description :
The Junior Demand Planner is responsible for completing assigned duties to ensure customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction. The Junior Demand Planner does this by accurately forecasting, tracking, and identifying operations trends, upcoming capacity constraints, and other sales / production queries. The Junior Demand Planner is also responsible for building, maintaining, and managing data requests related to planning. The Junior Demand Planner completes these functions in support of the manufacture of dairy-related products.
Job Responsibilities :
- Reviews historical sales trends, researches demand drivers, prepares forecast data, and evaluates forecast results.
- Interact with sales, marketing, finance, and production to understand and apply demand forecast drivers.
- Adheres to processes and methodologies for collecting sales forecasts and relevant data.
- Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for time horizons as part of the function.
- Utilize a team approach by working with both internal and external entities to obtain and ensure current and accurate information is used for planning team
- Leverage existing technology to maintain Planning reports that are readily available to multiple departments.
- Summarizes or aggregates and recommends statistical forecasts for review
- Review sales plans, budgets, and drivers and recommend changes as required
- Prepares and maintains relevant reports and procedures as part planning function.
- Continuously monitors and adjusts forecasts based on external influences and unexpected order variances to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Responsible for supporting a culture of continuous improvement in all areas while balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results.
- Responsible for achieving assigned goals in safety, quality, performance, and cost.
- Responsible for complying with GMPs, SOPs, corporate and / or plant policies, rules, and regulations.
- Works in a safe manner reports safety concerns promptly to their leadership team and takes corrective actions as necessary to ensure a safe environment.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills across various departments, ensuring clear and effective collaboration.
- All other duties assigned by leadership.

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Byrne, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,500 to $79,500.
Salary : $63,500 - $79,500
