We need an experienced Asphalt Paving Screwman to work in our paving operations throughout Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for yield and quality control of asphalt paving operation.
- Assist in coordinating crew activities with the foreman.
- Develop and maintain positive relations with internal and external customers.
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Support personnel during the construction of work.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 3-5 years of experience working in asphalt construction, with a minimum of 2 years using paving electronics.
- Understanding the setup and use of paving electronics.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best construction practices.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment (up to 50 lbs. or more).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
