Roller Operator – Ohio Division
Byrne & Jones Ohio currently performs commercial asphalt & concrete installation & repairs. In 2019, Byrne & Jones Construction expanded their services into Columbus, Ohio. Job Responsibilities
- Ability to operate various pieces of compaction equipment in the process of Breakdown & / or Finish Rolling process of asphalt paving
- Perform general maintenance & inspection on the equipment
- Assist crew members in completion of work where required
- Display a professional & courteous attitude to co-workers, customers & public
- Strict adherence to safety requirements & procedures
Qualifications
- Clean driving record (CDL preferred)
- Ideal candidate will have 5 or more years’ experience operating asphalt compaction equipment & heavy equipment
- Willing to work occasional weekends, & unexpected longer hours when necessary
Candidates will be compensated based on experience & capabilities.
Byrne & Jones Ohio is a nonunion contractor occasionally performing Prevailing Wage work. Typical work includes small to large commercial construction & paving projects.
