Were looking for a Field Safety Manager to help maintain a positive safety culture while ensuring company compliance with all company, federal, and state guidelines. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO, office.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Travel to job sites to perform inspections, compliance checks, and safety paperwork.
- Review JSAs and provide recommendations based on assessment results.
- Participate in or facilitate safety meetings with office and field personnel.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects.
- Observe employees and contractors to assist in accident prevention and eliminating at-risk behaviors.
- Coach / mentor employee(s) when they are observed in an unsafe act or situation.
- Effectively present safety information and respond to questions from employees, managers, and customers.
- Assist in new hire safety orientation, company safety training, and toolbox talks.
- Update the Safety Director on essential issues in the field that must be addressed.
