Job description
Responsibilities:
- Perform network design, architecting, and monitoring.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation, analysis into potential security related events and incidents.
- Design, integrate, and operate IT security systems for the company’s infrastructure.
- Evaluate new security threats and their potential risk to the company.
- Ensure security and network requirements are identified and followed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Network and Cyber Security
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
- Network and/or security certifications: CISSP or CCSP or CCNP
- Network Configuration and Management: Experience with routers and switches from various vendors.8 Advanced troubleshooting skills for network issues; Knowledge of WAN optimization technologies
- Security: Experience with various firewall types and VPN technologies (site-to-site, SSL, IPSEC); Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL); Hands-on experience with security incident event monitoring, correlation, and investigations; Incident response and vulnerability testing
- Wireless Technologies: Thorough understanding of wireless technologies and Wi-Fi systems
- Project Management: Experience leading projects and performing project management; Creating processes and procedures
- Participate in after-hour on-call rotation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $135,000.00 per year
