What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Security Analyst (St. Louis based candidates only) position at Byrne Software Technologies?
Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Network/Security team will provide network design, architecting, and monitoring of various networks.
- Help to establish and implement global standards.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation, analysis into potential security related events and incidents.
- Design, integrate, and operate IT security systems for the protection of the company’s infrastructure.
- Evaluate new security threats and their potential risk to the company.
- Report to IT Manager to ensure security and network requirements are identified and followed
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Network Security Analysis
- CCNP, CCSP, CCNA or equivalent certification.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience configuring, managing and supporting routers and switches of all types and platforms
- Thorough understanding of the OSI model
- Perform network design on a global scale
- Systematic knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocols (e.g. SSL, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.)
- Detail understanding of QOS and traffic shaping relating to voice, video and other services deemed critical
- Understand the difference between routed and routing protocols
- Experience using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP
- Understand DMVPN and ADVPN technologies
- Possess the skillset to configure and manage layer-2 and layer-3 switches manufactured by various vendors (ex. Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Meraki, Juniper)
- Experience configuring and managing various Firewall types, and VPN technologies (ex. site-to-site, SSL, IPSEC, etc.)
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, COBIT, ITL, etc.)
- Experience with audit compliance (HIPPA, SOX, PCI)
- Advance level troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve network issues
- Ability to perform patch management
- Familiar with WAN optimization technologies
- Maintain and monitor networks globally
- Thorough understanding of Wireless technologies and Wi-Fi systems
- Hands-on experience with security incident event monitoring, correlation and investigations
- Detailed knowledge of Incident Response Methodology (evidence acquisition, analysis and reporting)
- Perform Vulnerability testing on networks and lead team in remediation process
