Job Summary
We seek a skilled and experienced SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server. This role requires strong technical expertise in SQL development, database optimization, and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement SQL Server databases and solutions to support business requirements.
Write efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to manipulate data and ensure data integrity.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand data requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, deadlocks, and data corruption.
Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and migration tasks.
Implement security best practices to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Document database design, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SQL Server technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MS SQL Developer or Database Developer in a professional setting.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2012 and above), including SQL Syntax and Commands, Database design, development, and administration.
Expertise in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
Solid understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and data modeling principles.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS).
Familiarity with database security best practices including user authentication, authorization, and data encryption
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot database-related issues effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $1.50 per year
