Job Summary : Identifies and drives the enhancement of operational processes, ensuring we meet the demands of our customers. Includes but not limited to; optimizing plant layouts, capturing machine efficiencies, and engineering product flow tailored to our diverse product offerings and various customer segments.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements :
- Design and implement efficient plant layouts that maximize workflow, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance overall productivity.
- Monitor and analyze machine performance to identify areas for improvement. Develop strategies to increase operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Engineer product flow processes that align with customer segmentation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Utilize data analytics to assess current operations and identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, automation and supply chain, to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support projects aimed at improving production efficiency and capacity, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of engineering analyses, process improvements, and project outcomes for management review.
- Provide training and support to plant personnel on new processes and technologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Any other duties as required.
