Location : Omaha, NebraskaSalary : $50-55K plus bonusJob Summary of the Field Service Coordinator : As a Field Service Coordinator you will be an essential part of the Field Service Team, assisting with many day-to-day requests, including estimating small service jobs and following up with customers on active quotations and orders, coordinating with the outside sales force on customer requests, processing purchase orders, job sheets, and customer invoices in a timely fashion, communicating with Field Service Technicians, customers, and sub-contractors about logistics and schedules of service jobs and managing short-term projects to successful completion. The Field Service Coordinator works directly with the Service Business Specialist and Field Service Manager to support the current and long-term growthQualifications of the Field Service Coordinator : oBachelor's degree in Business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.oConstruction or general contractor experience is a plus.oDirect experience estimating or bidding such work is also a plusoAbility to type a minimum of 50 words per minute with an accuracy of at least 90%.oProficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.oIndustry background in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and has worked in the field and an office setting.oExperience with bidding, quotes, problem-solving, ordering parts, and customer service.oExperience with field service tech deployment into the field.oAbility to read blueprints.oAbility to deal effectively with discounts, percentages, proportions and currency conversion.oAbility to read and analyze business information.oPresentation and customer service interaction skills.Responsibilities of the Field Service Coordinator : oFully support the service business and opportunities throughout the Americas.oHandle day-to-day customer requests, such as providing price and availability, and communicating the status of quotes, orders, and shipments.oWork with customers primarily via telephone and email to determine product or project specifications related to service capabilities.oCreate quotes and provide technical documents to customers when needed.oRegularly follow up on active quotations and work with outside sales, Market Development Managers, or others as needed to put in the best possible position to win the business.oRoutinely update customer records in Navpoint for accuracy and completeness during and after customer interactions.oDevelop a basic understanding of products and the applications in which they are used.oCollect and record details related to pending, active, and completed Service projects and sales orders.oCoordinate with the Field Service Group, Sales, customers, etc. for scheduling and completion of Service jobs.oOutbound call and email customers as assigned for follow-up, lead qualification, prospecting, and other business development activities.oTravel is infrequent. However, travel to support a trade show or occasional visits to a customer's facility or job site may be necessary to support the customer; facilitate learning; or improve knowledge of applications, markets, field issues, or usage of products.oAfter initial training this position can be Hybrid and work from home 2 days a week.
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
