Job Summary
As a Preschool Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young minds. You will create a safe and stimulating environment where children can develop essential skills for their future academic success.
Duties
- Assist Teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of preschool-aged children
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement
- Communicate regularly with parents to discuss students' progress and address any concerns
- Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and other key subjects into daily activities
- Support children with disabilities and tailor teaching methods to meet individual needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to create a supportive and enriching learning environment for young learners
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
