Inventory Control : Maintain a balanced inventory by conducting weekly counts, managing reorders, and ensuring optimal stock levels for diverse vehicle types. Vendor Relations : Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate best pricing and availability. Customer Service : Provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Staff Management : Train and manage parts department personnel, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging high performance. Financial Management : Develop and manage the annual operating budget, monitor expenses, and ensure the department meets financial goals. Sales & Marketing : Achieve monthly sales targets, promote parts and services, and identify opportunities for growth within the department. Safety & Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Systems Management : Maintain accurate records in the inventory management system, update pricing, and implement policy changes as necessary. Shipping & Receiving : Oversee the receipt and shipment of parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Reporting : Analyze department performance, generate reports, and implement improvement strategies. Qualifications / Requirements — Parts Manager : Proven experience in a dealership parts department, preferably in powersports, automotive, or similar industries. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficient in inventory management software and basic business management principles. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
