What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Support Aide (REPOST) position at Byron Union School District?
Under the direction of the Coordinator of Student Services and site Principal, the Behavioral Support Aide will provide support to all students, including but not limited to students with behavioral issues. The Behavioral Support Aide will implement comprehensive positive behavioral support plans and effective behavior management strategies as developed by the District BCBA, but will also be able to implement Tier 1 and 2 strategies to support students struggling behaviorally who do not have individualized plans. The Byron Union School District is a TK - 8 district located in Byron, CA with approximately 1,250 students and 200 staff members, with two elementary schools and one middle school serving the communities of Byron and Discovery Bay. The district also offers an independent study program (Byron Institute of Independent Study) serving grades K-8.
