In a nutshell:
Solution Sales Experts have a role as “Solution Sales Hunters”. They are working closely together with the local sales teams with a strong focus to develop the solution business proactively. The Solution Sales Expert plays a central role in acquisition of advanced customer solution projects in key market regions and secure the sales goals with standardized solution bundles and Smart Factory solutions. With its knowledge of integrated solutions incl. expertise in consultative selling, the role is supporting the entire sales organization to identify & win solution opportunities. The goal is to build up a sustainable solution sales funnel and facilitate growth in the solution business with a strong focus in Automation & SW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the “go-to role” and act as a liaison and trusted advisor for Bystronic for all solution sales aspects in the corresponding market region
- Execute the solution sales plans in the markets to fulfil the solution sales goals
- Train our local sales teams for standardized solution bundles
- Be the subject matter expert on Solutions Sales Tools and train local sales teams on their usage and functionality.
- Plan customer visits to generate advanced solution opportunities
- Execute solution sales initiatives in the market/subsidiary
- Coordinate all required actions to deliver quotations for advanced solution projects locally:
- Initiate solution RFQ based on customer requirements
- Agree on the strategy and the scope of advanced solution projects and collect all components for the quotation in close collaboration with the Solution Design team incl. SW Solutions Experts
- Coordinates all sales support activities for advanced solution sales opportunities in close collaboration with the global community of Solution Sales Experts and other required global roles (e.g. SW Solution Sales Experts)
- Provide monthly solution business reporting for market region/subsidiary to the Head of Solution Sales
- Other Duties as assigned
