The global Supply Chain & Logistics team integrates logistics, warehousing, transportation and other resources to build a global "goods accessible" network, to provide international e-commerce customers with low-cost, high-efficiency, and high-determinacy supply chain and logistics solutions supporting multiple business models, and enhancing consumer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead data research initiatives to drive insights into international e-commerce supply chain and logistics.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to understand and improve merchant operations and supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing data-driven support to development, product, and operations to enhance supply chain logistics systems.
• Investigate the causal impact of logistics strategies and communicate findings to facilitate data-informed decision-making and strategy development.
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field, with a strong focus on data research methodologies and applications.
• 5 years of experience in data research with a proven record of actionable insights in the realm of data mining, machine learning, or operations research.
• Proficiency in SQL, along with extensive use of analytical tools such as R or Python. Familiarity with big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Flink, including cloud data services.
• A solid grasp of data analysis techniques, machine learning algorithms, and optimization methods, with a particular focus on translating complex data into strategic business recommendations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by a quick learning capability and the ability to adapt to new challenges within a team environment.
• Demonstrated experience in effectively collaborating across different teams, with a strong aptitude for business intelligence and communicating complex data concepts to a non-technical audience.
• An innovative thinker with a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and technologies, capable of using data to drive decision-making in a high-paced sector.

Job Information

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $212800 - $389500 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
