Team Introduction
The Global Event Services and Creator Studio team is a full-service event production team, partnering with internal teams across the organization to produce in-house, in-studio, and external events. Our goal is to deliver best-in-class event execution for our customers and partners.

The Event Services Coordinator and Business Development Lead is a key role within our AMS Event Services team, responsible for ensuring seamless event planning and execution while driving business development initiatives. This position combines organizational excellence with strategic client acquisition, serving as the central communication hub for the department and contributing to exceptional event experiences.

This role is pivotal in supporting the growth and transformation of the Event Services team, bridging operational coordination with proactive business development to acquire and maintain relationships with internal and external clients. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive professional with extensive experience in events, studio services, or media and entertainment.

Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Drive and execute strategies to generate demand for the Event Services portfolio of solutions and services.
  • Create and foster new business opportunities, including acquiring new projects and growing existing client relationships.
  • Build cross-functional relationships to expand business development opportunities and align with client needs.
  • Achieve growth targets through proactive demand generation, consultative selling, and thought leadership throughout event cycles.
Administrative Coordination
  • Serve as the central communication point, managing client communications and inquiries.
  • Send reminders and updates for upcoming events to ensure preparedness for team meetings.
  • Adapt to evolving departmental needs, handling unexpected tasks and responsibilities with flexibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal/external stakeholders.
Client and Event Support
  • Act as the primary contact for event operations, managing events from initiation to completion.
  • Prepare initial event documentation, including contracts, timelines, correspondence, and other supporting materials.
  • Represent the department in internal meetings and provide site tours to ensure client needs are vetted and met.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of event planning or studio service experience, with a focus on the media and entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of the media and entertainment sector, including prospect profiles, the buying/selling journey, and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional ability to interact, present, and communicate effectively with all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including non-traditional hours during events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones in a global organization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Job Information

【For Pay Transparency】 Compensation Description (Annually) - Washington, DC

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is 117760 - 207480 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
