Job Summary: As a Bartender at Bytes and Brews, you will be at the heart of our operation, providing exceptional service and crafting innovative cocktails and beverages for our customers. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our patrons have a fantastic experience in our gaming bar. You should be passionate about mixology, demonstrate excellent customer service, and embrace the fun and welcoming atmosphere of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers, taking their drink orders with a friendly and engaging manner.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to our recipes and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in place.
- Assess customers' needs and preferences, making recommendations for food and drink pairings.
- Check customers' identification to verify their age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Handle cash and card transactions, providing accurate change and receipts.
- Keep track of inventory, order supplies when necessary, and ensure par levels are maintained.
- Create and implement new drink recipes or specials.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a similar setting.
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- In-depth knowledge of craft beers, cocktails, and spirits.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Must be of legal drinking age.
- Relevant certifications or training in bartending are a plus.
