What are the responsibilities and job description for the EDI Analyst position at Byteware Inc?
What you’ll be doing:
- Design, test, and support integration maps for EDI documents and workflows.
- Establish and test connections between customers, VANs, and third parties using FTP, SFTP, AS2, API, etc.
- Analyzing EDI and data requirements from customers.
- Ensure a timely progression of project completion by coordinating testing activities, including test data and results, with business stakeholders and customers.
- Provide exceptional customer and technical support to our internal partners.
- Communicate in a timely and effective manner for assigned issues and setups.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of EDI experience (setups, mapping, testing, etc.) required.
- Knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI standards.
- Minimum 2 years working experience with Boomi setting up EDI integrations.
- Experience supporting 204, 990, 214, 210, and 997 EDI transaction sets (Preferred).
- Previous experience working with VAN’s, AS2, SFTP, and other communication methods.
- Excellent technical skills on the latest technology platforms.
- Coding experience – understanding of basic coding principles and ability to modify an existing code base.
- Strong work ethic, with a fierce dedication to exceeding expectations.
- Impeccable organizational skills with the ability to multitask and deliver results under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize many different requests and handle changing priorities.
- Ability to communicate information to technical and non-technical end-users.
- Forward thinker / solves issues independently.
