Minimum 12 plus years of Data Base Administration experience of which 9 plus years should have worked on SQL DBA covering Installing, configuring, and maintaining SQL Server instances and databases
SQL Server Database Administrator is responsible for the performance, security, and availability of an organization's SQL Server databases. They ensure that the databases are properly designed, implemented, and maintained to meet the needs of the business. SQL DBAs may also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining other database-related technologies, such as data replication, clustering, and high availability solutions. Creating and managing database objects, such as tables, indexes, and constraints Ensuring data integrity and consistency by monitoring database performance and conducting regular backups and restores. Optimizing database performance by analyzing query execution plans and making
appropriate adjustments to database configuration and schema design. Implementing and maintaining database security measures, such as user permissions and access controls Planning for and implementing database upgrades and migrations Troubleshooting and resolving database issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and connectivity problems Collaborating with development teams to design and implement database changes that support application requirements. Providing technical guidance and support to end users and other IT teams. Creating and maintaining documentation related to database design, configuration, and operations.
