Hospice Aide

Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. This position offers:

• Guaranteed 32- 40 hours a week
• 2 wellness days
• 4- or 5-day positions
• Flexible shifts
• Paid tolls and parking
• In house massages for clinical staff offered monthly
• Reasonable patient load (5 patients) or less per day
• Scheduling is handled by a team in house so that you can focus on patient care
• Gas card through our company Car Program

We are currently seeking a full time Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to our hospice patients.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday including rotating weekends; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Sonoma County

*MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE*

By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed
• Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation
• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current certification to practice as a Home Health Aide in the State of California
• Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car

Pay Range:
$26.00 - $30.00 hourly
