Bytoa is seeking an ambitious, versatile and customer-focused Embedded Developer with a passion for solving complex technical challenges in a mission-critical environment. You will join a small, elite team responsible for delivering niche, specialized cyber solutions to our mission customers. You will have the opportunity to apply your embedded expertise in a wide variety of technology areas including networking and telecommunications, industrial systems, Internet of Things and connected devices, vehicle and transportation systems, and traditional cyber computing operations.

What you'll be doing:
- Design, develop, debug, and modify embedded software
- Work with a small team of developers, performing embedded software development with C and conducting reverse engineering on software and firmware
- Participate in code reviews and work as part of a larger team to develop embedded software products
- Create and maintain documentation on developed software and techniques
- Develop and maintain support software for interfacing with developed embedded software
- Conduct developer testing and integration testing for all developed software
Salary range: $170,000 - $245,000. This does not include our comprehensive benefits package or any discretionary bonus compensation.
Required Skills
Requirements for your new career:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 5 years of experience in software and firmware reverse engineering
- Experience with low-level programming in a Windows, Linux, or RTOS (i.e. VxWorks, uC/OS, etc.)
- Experience with C/C and Python programming
