Job Description
Bytoa is seeking an experienced, ambitious, versatile and customer-focused HPC Software Engineer. You'll participate in the design, development, test, and sustainment of complex and diverse software for high performance computing systems.
The HPC systems might include, but are not limited to, processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and systems which incorporate data repositories, data transport services, and application and systems development and monitoring.
To be successful, you should have a background in mathematics and / or computer hardware as well as HPC technologies in order to understand the intricacies of the HPC architecture.
Salary range : $210,000 - $245,000
Disclaimer : Salary for this position, along with additional compensation options, will be determined on an individual basis following the interview process, considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education / certifications, contract specifications, market conditions, etc.
Required Skills
Experience requirements for your new career :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or another technical discipline.
- 5 years' experience in high performance computing
- Background in mathematics, cryptology, and / or computer science
- A courageous personality unafraid to ask questions, get answers, and deliver.
- Experience with DoD software design and development principles and methodologies
- Experience integrating specialized capabilities for HPC systems
- Experience with requirements analysis and synthesis from system-level to individual software components
- Experience with software components of system design to include hardware / software trade-offs, software reuse, and use of open source software and / or commercial-off-the-shelf / government-off-the-shelf software
- Experience with Configuration Management tools
Additional Details
Clearance Requirement :
A current Top-Secret / SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
