The Local Delivery Driver operates a truck or van with a capacity of under 26,001 GVW. The Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering merchandise in a timely manner to customers.
Duties And Responsibilities
BZO Wheels is a tire and wheel warehouse located in multiple locations all over the United States, for now we have 3 branches in Texas (Houston, Dallas, San Antonio), 1 in New Mexico and partners in California. We import very a high quality tires from China. We offer multiple brands both Asian and American. BZO Wheels is a wholesale Warehouse.
The Local Delivery Driver operates a truck or van with a capacity of under 26,001 GVW. The Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering merchandise in a timely manner to customers.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Make sure deliveries and collections are handled correctly.
- Provide customers with timely deliveries in accordance with the Branch Manager’s schedule.
- Collect and account for cash and checks when making deliveries.
- Perform daily truck inspection and notify supervisor of any needed repairs or maintenance.
- Ensure that the truck is kept clean and tidy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be familiar with DOT driving regulations.
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years driving experience in a commercial motor vehicle.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a Company provided DOT physical.
- Must be proficient in using a ELD (Electronic Logging Device).
- Must be able to spend multiple nights on the road when required.
- Must be able to drive in all weather and road conditions.
