Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing and transporting vehicles to designated locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle conflict situations.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks or flatbeds
- Safely transport vehicles to designated locations
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and addressing their concerns
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Handle conflict situations with professionalism and diplomacy
Experience:
- Valid Drivers License
- Proven experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Soft Service: Lockouts, Tire Changes, Battery Jumps
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles onto tow trucks or flatbeds
- Familiarity with local roadways and traffic laws
