C.A. Jones Inc.. is now hiring 1st Class Marine Painter/Blasters for long term, national defense work underway in Pascagoula, MS.
Per Diem is available for qualified non-local personnel
Applicants must be able to pass a 7 year background investigation , hair follicle drug screen & Audiogram prior to job start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum Three (3) or more years experience as a painter/blaster
Preferred Design Disciplines:
- Must be able to preform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications - Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the contract specifications.
Job Description:
Painters have the responsibility to perform blasting and painting utilizing marine coating to specified contract requirements. Understanding of blasting and painting specifications including but not limited to blast profiles, milage requirements, ect. Perform blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision. Testing will consisit of the ability to hook up airlines to the manifold and spray horizontal, vertical and side to side. - Able to sand blast and demonstrate how to utilize each part of the blast equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $29.61 - $30.61 per hour
