Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Enhancement Manager to oversee our enhancement and irrigation operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and managing various landscaping projects. The Manager will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment while promoting efficiency and excellence in all aspects of landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities
· Full responsibility for all enhancements jobs by managing labor, materials, time, and customer expectations;
· directs all efforts associated with profit and loss within the Enhancements Division;
· plans, develops, and leads all strategic initiatives associated with enhancements projects;
· designs short and long-range goals and tactical objectives related to installing, pruning, or removing plants, trees, shrubs, hardscape, irrigation, and/or ground cover, and proper mulching techniques;
· can interpret blueprints, landscape plans, and soils reports;
· demonstrates landscape horticulture expertise (e.g., enhancements, installation, hardscape, irrigation);
· can develop, interpret, and meet a budget;
· role models all organizational policies and procedures;
· estimates jobs accurately;
· sells enhancements;
· demonstrates leadership, initiative, and accountability at all times;
· completes paperwork (e.g., invoices, timecards, safety documents) accurately, timely, and efficiently;
· ensures gross margin goals are met by establishing challenging goals, clarifying expectations, and holding crews accountable for performance;
· develops weekly labor schedule, efficient crew routing circles, and job sequencing procedures;
· attends meetings, makes presentations, and represents the company as an expert in the field of enhancements;
· role models PPE usage;
· can multi-task with short timelines and limited resources;
· is results oriented in all aspects of performance;
· tracks key performance standards for each job;
· operates landscape hand tools and light and heavy-duty equipment efficiently and safely;
· tracks equipment, tools, and vehicle inventory, preventative maintenance, and repair;
· ensures compliance with all company-wide policies, programs, and processes;
· performs pre- and actual job site inspections;
· performs basic job cost and budgeting tasks;
· reviews, revises, and approves paperwork, billings, and purchasing documents;
· ensures all staff adhere to operational, ethical, safety, and administrative policies and procedures;
· recruits, interviews, hires, trains, supervises, disciplines, evaluates, and motivates, subordinate employees;
· attends customer meetings and walk-throughs, completes punch lists, and makes recommendations to clients;
· actively participates in safety meetings;
· conducts safety audits, job quality audits, and human resources paperwork;
· conducts necessary job documentation;
· ensures purchasing, delivery, and material processing are completed correctly;
· ensures all work meets company quality standards;
· develops proactive plans to improve achievement of key performance indicators;
· role models all organizational policies and procedures;
· reads and understands contracts;
· attends budget reviews;
· utilizes computer skills, information technology, and MS Office applications effectively;
· completes all paperwork accurately; and
· provides excellent service (e.g., accurate, complete, and timely) to clients, work-site partners, and company staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques, and garden design principles.
- Experience in supervising groundskeeping operations is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
