The Claims Administrator is responsible for managing claims processes, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements, and overseeing fleet administration for company vehicles and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Administration:
- Manage and oversee workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Work with adjusters, attorneys, and insurers to track claim status and develop strategies to minimize costs.
- Investigate incidents, gather documentation, and compile reports for internal review.
- Maintain a database of claims, track trends, and provide regular reports to management.
- Support litigation efforts by coordinating legal documentation and acting as a liaison between internal stakeholders and legal teams.
- Fleet Administration:
- Coordinate vehicle assignments, tracking usage and mileage to optimize fleet operations.
- Assist with the administration of company vehicle policies, including driver qualification checks and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage DMV registrations
- Manage Fleet Fuel card program
- Insurance Certificate Compliance:
- Review, track, and maintain insurance certificates for vendors, subcontractors, and company assets.
- Ensure all subcontractors meet the company’s insurance requirements before engaging in work.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in claims administration, fleet management, or insurance compliance within the construction or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, certificates of insurance (COIs), and construction-related risk management.
- Prior experience managing workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto claims.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors.
Location: Valencia, CA - corporate office
Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 annually
