Job Summary
C & A Scientific is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator. This individual will play a key role in understanding C & A's supply chain processes and executing daily procurement tasks. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of purchasing activities, strong organizational skills, and a drive to learn and develop within a growing company. This position offers a hybrid-remote work model.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- With guidance from leader, be able to develop production and inventory management plans to fulfill both material and finished goods demands.
- Manage production schedule to ensure timely product delivery, identify current and potential product shortages, develop and execute recovery plans
- Create and release manufacturing orders based on inventory plan
- Actively coordinate with vendors or China partner throughout the production and delivery cycle to place orders, negotiate pricing, and resolve issues.
- Coordinate international logistics with all relevant parties including but not limited to shipper, forwarder, broker and internal warehouses
- Maintain SAGE and Netstock system to ensure that data is accurate and up to date
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform various reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in optimizing vendor base and driving cost savings in both China and the US
- Participate in developing and optimizing supply chain team SOP and process, identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and suggest improvements.
- Serve as one of the key contacts to various transactional inquiries from internal stakeholders
- All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 1 - 3 years of supply chain or inventory analysis experience
- Advanced computer skills, Excel experience mandatory
- Outstanding organizational and comprehension skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent detail-oriented focus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of SAGE and Netstock systems
- Experience working in global supply chain industry
- Fluency in Mandarin
