About the Role:
Our client, a leading California-based commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to join their rapidly growing Los Angeles K-14 Education Building Division. The successful candidate will oversee and lead the construction of a ground-up student housing education development located in Compton, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and delegate subs
- Engage in positive relationships with owners, architects, designers, property managers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Communicate project schedules to subs and vendors
Requirements:
- 5-8 years' experience as a construction superintendent or field manager for a full-service commercial general contractor in California
- Past experience on ground-up student housing, affordable housing, multifamily, and/or education projects in California
- Experience working alongside the DSA (Division of the State Architect)
