In 1997, C & B CUSTOM MODULAR, INC. was founded with the prospect of manufacturing the best quality built custom modular offices and modular classrooms produced today. C & B's combined experience and knowledge in the manufacturing of custom modular is over 90 years.   C & B is very dedicated to the quality of each unit that is manufactured in our facility. Each unit undergoes a thorough inspection by our quality control department as well as licensed inspectors before a unit leaves our facility.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH HOME BUILDING AND CODES

POSITION SUMMARY 

Under the direction of the Drafting Manager, this position is responsible for generating a complete and accurate file and prints based on written specifications for submittal to customers, state agencies, and production.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

THE DRAFTING TECHNIICIAN SHALL BE RESONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

A. Drafts  project drawing which includes

            1. Working drawings for customer sign-off, state, and production

            2.  Miscellaneous details and drawings

            3. Updating structural standards

            4. Sales bid drawings

B. Presents questions to Sales and/or research as needed for clarification on projects.

C. Submits complete and accurate plans to the Plan Checker/Supervisor for review

D.  Addresses and incorporates red-lines from plan review accurately.

E. Submits prints for customer and state to the Project Coordinator

F. Revises prints per customer red-lines, clouding modifications as needed

G. Processes complete and accurate prints including all necessary corrections for final release

H. Saves CAD file of completed project (final release)

I. Addresses questions raised by Sales, Purchasing, and Production as needed

J. Performs other tasks as assigned.
