Turf Retail Associate

C & B Operations, LLC is a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 35 years to include thirty-six John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a John Deere Parts Specialist at its dealership located at its dealership located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A Turf Retail Associate is responsible for selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories. Are you an individual with excellent customer service skills and a positive, enthusiastic disposition to exceed the on-going needs of our customers? Then this is the position for you!

Essential Duties

• Promotes and sells products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needs
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
• Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
• On-call rotation as needed during seasonal hours
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to provide excellent customer service skills
• Positive, enthusiastic disposition to exceed the on-going needs of our customers.
• Prior sales experience and John Deere parts and equipment knowledge preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team oriented
• Relates well to all kinds of people and easily builds trusting relationships
• Unwavering integrity and strong work ethic
• Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Fork lift knowledge preferred
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
